the world. There are many types of health care professionals that specialize in and treat
patients for varieties of different quality of care. It is very important that every individual
must know what a health care provider specializes in and do a little research on the
health care provider. Furthermore, there will be two health care service providers that

specialties, such as what type of service these health care professionals provide and
products to help with the best quality care. The two health care service providers will be
discussing are mental health services and rehabilitative services.
Mental Health Provider
Mental Health can affect someone’s everyday life at any age from childhood to
adulthood by changes in thinking, behavior, and emotions that’s related to problems,
distress, family, work, and social activities. However, there are health care providers that
can assist with mental health illness. These are the psychologists, family counselors,
chemical dependency counselors, nurse case managers, licensed social worker, and
psychiatrists. These mental health providers assist with treatments. It is critical for
mental health care providers to know what works for their patients, because treatment
may work for some patients and sometimes it may not work for another patient.
Treatments are more likely to be successful when there are multiple mental health care
providers work together to assist a patient with mental illness. These treatments include
psychotherapy such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior, self-help, and
medications (Legg, 2017). The goals for the mental health care providers are to
improve an understanding about the patients’ mental illness and assign a diagnosis to
understand individual’s mental illness. Also, to improve the quality of care for mentally ill
patients. Anyone that has a mental health issue can be seen in the hospital, emergency
rooms, in-patient, outpatient hospital, private practice, tele health, and tele psychiatry
(Harnois, 2000). There are medical products that can help with a mental health issue,
