Introduction
● The Governor is the constitutional head of a State in India.

Appointment
● Appointed by the President of India.

Qualifications
To become a Governor, a person must:
1. Be a citizen of India
2. Be at least 35 years old

Term of Office
● 5 years, but can be removed earlier by the President.
● Can resign anytime by writing to the President.
● Can continue in office until a new Governor is appointed.
Oath
