AMENDMENT PROCEDURE OF THE
INDIAN CONSTITUTION
Introduction
● The Constitution of India is neither too rigid nor too flexible.
● It can be changed when needed through a process called Amendment.
● Amendment procedure is given in Article 368.
Meaning of Amendment
Amendment means:
● Making changes,
● Adding new provisions, or
● Removing or modifying existing provisions in the Constitution.
