Secondary Storage is additional memory.
It is used to hold large amounts of information outside the main
memory.
It is separated from the processor and is contained in another box.
The external storage or auxiliary storage devices are used to store,
permanently, excess information that are not of immediate need to the
computer or which could not have been stored in the internal memory due
to its limitations.
They are external memory that is not directly accessible by the
CPU.
