1. Examine the health-illness continuum and discuss why this perspective is important to

consider in relation to health and the human experience when caring for patients.

Research shows that the health-illness continuum to be a graphical demonstration of a

good health idea. It suggests that wellbeing involve both emotional and mental health and also

the being sick or not. Health-illness continuum assists in curing patients by making them believe

that they will be okay by helping individual to acquire emotionally and mentally development.

According to Eisenhauer, C., & Hunter, J. (2012) by using this, patients are inspired to attain

good health and avoid both emotional and physical illnesses by taking note of which scale the

patient falls within continuum by taking measurements. This also approximates if there is any

development by the patients. In certain times patients may not indicate physical signs and

symptoms of the illness but at the same time feel anxious, depressed and not happy and at many

times insist that they are not feeling well this can affect their wellbeing.

2. Explain how understanding the health-illness continuum enables you, as a health

others in ways that promote human flourishing

Human flourishing uses logical principle in careful nursing requirements and inclusive

growth and effects for nursing activities that need further explanation for nurses and the people

they take care of. This involves the assessment of human flourishing as a life-long method of

endeavoring, by the use of will and reason to decide on thinking and acting perfectly on the

matter. When we use careful nursing exercisehealth is reflected on two ways. The first way is
