A) Using the attached “Paradigm Pet
Professional UI Design Specifications” and
existing “Paradigm Pet Professionals
Website” from the Web Links section,
compare the content, functionality, and
navigation of the current website to user
specifications and evaluate audience and
stakeholders needs by doing the following:
1) Describe how the current website
content fails to meet audience and
stakeholder needs.

,i) Audience Needs: The current website fails to
meet audience needs in terms of content as
outlined in the user interface design
specifications. The audience needs various
forms of content according each user type as
outlined in the specifications while the
current website does not provide this. The
audience needs:
(1) A home page which gives a succinct
overview of what the company offers in an
easily identifiable fashion. The current
website begins talking about pets in a large
font with pictures underneath it, giving no
indication of what Paradigm Pet
Professionals does.
(2) Links to other pages from the home
page. The current website offers this in a
confusing fashion.
(3) Cat users need information pertaining
to feeding needs based on: type, diet, age,

, and other requirements. While this is
offered, it is presented in a confusing
fashion currently.
(4) Dog owners need information on puppy
activities and the layout should be
appealing when viewed from mobile.
Currently, information is presented in a
confusing fashion which is not optimized
for mobile devices.
(5) Bird owners require information on
relational needs for their species of bird.
This page is nonexistent currently.
(6) Fish owners require information on
water salinity testing and tank
maintenance according to species
optimized for mobile devices. This page
currently does not exist.
(7) Small-animal owners need information
about suitable housing for their pets

ii)Stakeholder Needs: The current website fails

a website that is easy to navigate with easily
understood content according to the

one-on-one consultations for pet care
advice
(2) An ability to respond to requests for
consultations
(3) Collection of user data (name, phone
number, email address, time zone)
(4) Collection of user pet data (name, type,
age)
(5) Adherence to accessibility standards
