Adverse effects: Steven-Johnson syndrome and photosensitivity



Gentamicin - ANS-Antibiotic

Adverse effects: ototoxicity, inflammation of the liver and spleen,
twitching, flaccid paralysis

Concurrent use with Cefazolin increases risk of renal toxicity



Doxycycline - ANS-Antibiotic

Adverse effects: delayed development of bones and teeth

AVOID while pregnant



Metronidazole - ANS-Used to treat trichomoniasis

Concurrent use with alcohol causes a disulfiram-like reaction

AVOID alcohol



Amphotericin B - ANS-Antifungal

Adverse effects: fevers, chills, hypokalemia, cardiac
dysrhythmias, hypotension, nephrotoxicity
