Task 1:
Patience
Patience is crucial for a teacher whether dealing with students, co-workers, or parents. Teachers who
show patience can have a positive impact on their students' success.
Listener
Listening to your students is essential to building a good relationship with them and being an effective
teacher. Only through listening will you understand your students’ needs, interests, and challenges.
Empathy
Empathy helps to understand how the students feel. Put yourself in their shoes and try to be in tune
their hopes and fears, helping them towards a more holistic learning experience.
Communication
Communication is a teacher's most important skill. Even if you're the best in English, your students
will only benefit from your knowledge if you can successfully convey it to them.
Adaptability
Mishaps happen. Technology fails, students don't respond as expected or your lesson plan isn't long
enough. Teachers need to learn how to navigate the unexpected and keep control of a lesson.
Task 4
Lead-in
Ask students in pairs to talk about what they do every day before or after school, to active their
prior knowledge on present simple.
Presentation
Meaning:
Walk around the classroom and asks, "What am I doing now?" and answer by saying “I am
walking.”, demonstrating when we use the TL.
Dance and ask, "What am I doing now?", elicit from class "You are dancing."
