Introduction

, The Industrial Revolution, a big turning point in human history, brought about radical
changes that changed the course of societies and economies forever. Originating in the
18th century and extending into the 19th century, this transformative period was
characterized by a lot of technological innovation, manufacturing processes, and
economic development. But how and why did this happen?

With the advent of inventions and advancements, everything changed. The introduction
of machinery,
powered by steam
engines and later
electricity,
revolutionized
production methods,
leading to the rise of
factories and mass
production.
Inventions such as
the spinning jenny,
the steam engine, and
the power loom,
enabled faster and more efficient production of textiles and other goods. The
development of the railroad and the telegraph facilitated faster transportation and
communication, connecting distant regions and expanding markets. The Industrial
Revolution also brought about significant social changes. The rise of urbanization
happened so more employers could work in factories. The rise of a new working class
and the concentration of workers in industrial centers gave rise to new social and labor
dynamics.

There were a lot of big changes, some good such as new products, improved wages
and urbanization and some bad and challenging changes like pollution, bad working
conditions and a low wage.
