1. Voorbereidingsfase:
In de voorbereidingsfase wordt een projectplan opgesteld met daarin de eisen en doelstelling van het congres, het concept ten aanzien van inhoud en vorm, de stakeholders, het kostenplaatje, het contract en de globale planning.
2. Uitwerkingsfase:
In de uitwerkingsfase houdt het team in overleg met de klant zich bezig met het programma, afspraken maken met toeleveranciers, marketing en promotie, inschrijving, logistiek en de locatie. Alles ten aanzien van het organiseren van het congres wordt voorbereid.
3. Uitvoeringsfase:
In de uitvoeringsfase vindt het congres plaats. Het is van belang dat de boodschap van het congres overkomt bij de deelnemers. Het concept moet aansluiten op de waarden van de deelnemer.
4. Evaluatiefase:
In de evaluatiefase vindt de nazorg van het congres plaats. Is het doel bereikt? Zijn de deelnemers tevreden? Wat heeft het congres opgeleverd? Ook vindt in deze fase de financiële afronding plaats.
