Explain the four stages of the Hagerstrand model
Primary step- there is a clear distinction between the place of disease origin and the disease-free areas.
Expansion step- there are fewer non-diseased areas, with the areas closest to the original outbreak being infected first.
Condensation step- the diseases becomes more widespread, with the rate of infection becoming homogenous.
Saturation step- the disease is at its most widespread, as most of the population is exposed, the diffusion rate levels out.
