The Company Policy regarding Alcohol/Drug Testing
Acting to, in accordance and in full compliance with Federal and State laws
that are supposed to be utilized in any workplace, the State of Estates planning firm
has a long-standing commitment to providing the company policy regarding drug
testing. The purpose of the policy is to promote a productive work environment
free from drugs. The reason behind the policy is that drug abuse poses a threat to
the health of the individuals and the safety of the employees working at the firm.
For this reason, the State of Estates Company is committed to providing the policy
regarding drug testing in the company. The policy applies to all employees in the
State of Estate Company. The following topics will be considered in the policy:
1. Pre-employment drug/alcohol testing
The drug and alcohol testing will be considered a requirement and of pre-
employment for any position within State of Estate, all the applicants considered
for hire must have a drug test so that to receive an offer for employment and be
aware that any offer of employment is contingent of the drug and alcohol analysis.
Refusal to be tested will result in the disqualification of the work (Laurens, 2017).
