From your post, one can learn about how stereotypes are witnessed in society. Mostly, we
get deeply engrossed in the differences we have with those around us, which clouds our
judgments. I think that we can be viewing others negatively since we have not interacted with
them and there is no need to use physical attributes such as physical appearance to judge them.
Ronnie and Benjamin portrayed the qualities of stereotypes that we need to kick off to embrace
better ideals in society. I concur with you that most of the members of the minority groups work
extra hard to provide for their families, but the issue of racism affects them negatively. I think
this can be dealt with by ensuring that people coexist and love each other regardless of skin color
or origin. After watching the videos, I appreciated the fact that valuing diversity is crucial in
every society.

targeted people, I think the best way is to avoid discriminating against people based on their
physical attributes. Beauty does not usually correspond to intelligence or one’s character. So,
instead of prejudgments, the best thing is to engage others without having negative attitudes
towards them. The mistreatment of Chinese immigrants caught my eye, and I believe that as you
have indicated, the government helped by putting in place legislation. However, I think a change
would emanate from the citizens by tolerating the minority groups as they are all Americans. By
doing this, stereotypes would be curbed. I agree with you that the food that Chinese immigrants
in America made changed people’s perceptions of their role in the country. However, I think this
