HIV stigma and discrimination
HIV stigma is a negative attitude towards an individual with HIV/AIDS, coupled with bigotry
that is rooted by the belief that victimized people should not be accepted in the society. Literary,
discrimination is the behaviour garnered from HIV stigma. Notably, these negative ideas and
misconceptions arose from the ancient view of HIV/AIDS at an early age. The public health has
employed effort to undo the fatalistic knowledge of the malady.
