Narrative text= Tells a chronological story in past tense passed through the
generations by word.
Types=
⟶ Folklore (Traditional beliefs/cerita rakyat)
⟶ Fairytale (Pure imagination, mostly magical)
⟶ Fable (uses humanized animals)
⟶ Legend (Not a myth but consists of historical facts, mostly talks about the
origin of a place ⟶ it helps bridging the gap between the historical facts and
myth)
Structure=
1. Orientation (beginning)
⟶ where (setting,place)
⟶ When did the event happen
⟶ who is/are the character(s)
⟶ What happened?
2. Complication (middle)
⟶ The beginning of the problem, leads to crisis/climax, shows how the
characters seek solutions
