Welcome to the world of Mental Math Mastery! Do you often feel
nervous when you see a big math problem? Do you spend a lot of
time doing rough work for simple multiplications during your
exams? If your answer is "Yes," then this book is exactly what you
need.
Mathematics is not just about memorizing formulas; it is about
understanding the patterns behind numbers. Most students find
math difficult because they follow long, traditional methods
taught in schools. While those methods are important, they are
often very slow. In competitive exams like NMMSE or NTSE, every
second counts. If you can save time on calculations, you can use
that time to solve more difficult questions.
In this book, I have shared over 50+ Magical Tricks that will help
you calculate faster than a calculator. Imagine multiplying a three-
digit number by 11 in just 2 seconds, or finding the square of a
,number without even picking up a pen! These techniques are
based on logical shortcuts and Vedic Math principles that make
math feel like a fun game rather than a boring subject.
As a student who loves science and dreams of becoming a doctor,
I know how much confidence matters. When you can solve math
problems quickly in your head, your brain becomes sharper, and
your confidence grows. This book is written in very simple
language so that students of all ages can learn these secrets
easily.
Let’s stop being afraid of math and start playing with numbers.
Are you ready to become a Math Master? Let’s begin the journey!
, Addition & Subtraction
Trick 1 Left-to-Right Addition
In school we add from the right side, but to add in your mind it is easier
to start from the left side (the tens place)
Example:- 45 + 38 = ?
First add 40 and 30 (70). Then add 5 and 8 (13).
Method:- Now add 70 + 13.
Answer:- 83
Trick 2 Rounding Off Method
If a number is very close to 100 or 50, it is easier to add it as a whole
number.
Example:- 98 + 47 = ?
Method:- Take 98 as 100. 100 + 47 = 147. Since you took 2 more
to get 100, subtract 2 from 147.
Answer:- 145
