Act 3 is the turning point of the play. Caesar goes to the Senate despite warnings abo
Artemidorus tries to give him a letter revealing the conspiracy, but Caesar ignores it due
overconfidence.
At the Capitol, the conspirators gather around Caesar pretending to request the cancellation o
Cimber’s banishment. Suddenly, they stab Caesar one by one. When Brutus stabs him, Caesar
tu, Brute? Then fall, Caesar!” and dies.
After the assassination, the conspirators try to justify their actions by saying they killed Caes
Rome from dictatorship. Mark Antony meets them and pretends to support them. He asks p
to speak at Caesar’s funeral, and Brutus allows it.
At the funeral, Brutus speaks first. He tells the citizens that he loved Caesar but loved R
claims Caesar was ambitious. The crowd initially supports him.

man” sarcastically, shows Caesar’s wounds, and reveals that Caesar left money and land to the

In the final scene, an innocent poet named Cinna is killed by the angry mob simply beca
