Leadership Assessment Tool 360 Refined summarizes three viewpoints: how one
perceives oneself on crucial leadership skills, how the people who work with them perceive them
in these same areas, and the gaps and overlaps between these perceptions. The 360 Refined
assessment tells one where their behavior has an impact on leadership success. These results are
an accurate representation of myself and my leadership style. I am a giver of information, and
everyone succeeds when we all have the same information and are given the same opportunities.
In every decision I make, I'm consistent and look toward the overall outcome of my decisions.
Stagnation is one of my biggest exasperations. Continuous learning has been a significant part of
my life, from my grandmother to my mother. Jim Crow laws did not allow my grandmother to
have an education beyond the eighth grade, and my mother received her high school education;
however, she continued to take continuing education courses, which led me to finish my master's
degree and pursue a new career field. My inability to be silent when facing an impasse is an area
in which I lack. I lack the sensitivity to consider others' feelings and the tactfulness required
when making difficult decisions. I was raised to stand for what is right and speak out when I see
something or someone is wrong, even if I am the only one standing.
The CQ Pro assessment identifies one’s strengths and development opportunities for
functioning effectively in a multicultural setting. This assessment evaluates one's flexibility to
adapt to different cultures. I scored moderately on this assessment, which is within fifty percent
of the worldwide norms. These results are accurate in the ways I handle multicultural settings.
Before meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds, I will conduct research on
cultural norms and misconceptions to understand how not to offend or insult their culture. I
