Researches have conducted that around 51% of parents thought
that using technology on the long term has a positive and negative
effect, but almost 32% of parents believed that technology has
more positive results. Whereas 16% of parents had found that
when their children use technology for a long time It will impact
Final Draft negatively on them. When speaking about impact of something,
studies should be there to prove if some thing is right or wrong.
While many people do not see the futuristic impact of technology
on their children, they assume that no one could have the right to
stop or monitor the children from using technology and keeping
them up to time. However, studies have conducted that tech
devices will clearly have a direct impact on the young children

Some believe that tech isn’t harmful for kids especially that they
are monitored and not sitting on their devices for long time
throughout the day. Also, they assume that, technology is a must
in their age now so they can gain skills and to make them up to
time with other kids. They believe that because some researchers
had conducted that technology is beneficial for young children
especially in developing their language and high focusing skills.
(Kar et al.). However, in (Mashrah 3) shows “The three side
effects that will be concentrated on are social, cognitive and
physical developments according to Plowman, McPake, and
Stephen (2010)” Excessive use of technology can negatively
affect children’s development, particularly their social behaviour
and ability to interact with others. It may also reduce physical
activity and lead to problems such as poor concentration and
unhealthy habits if not properly controlled. Now we will dive
deeper into the negative effects, and the evidence for that.
