upper torso. The client is employed at a chemical refinery. The burns are
an occupational injury that occurred after an explosion at the refinery.
The client was admitted 7 days ago to the ICU. They arrived via
ambulance, intubated and in critical condition. The client is now stable
and ready for transfer to the floor. The current vital signs are BP 142/91,
temperature 37.4° C (99.4° F), pulse 102, respiratory 28, and SpO2 96%
