Healthcare systems are essential for the general population they serve. Larger cities have
access to a good range of healthcare services. However, smaller or rural towns might not have
that same advantage. West Islip, NY, is a city that features a varied population mix and a chance
for healthcare to grow. The paper will focus on the types and locations of medical services and
facilities available in the city. It will provide the city's demographics like the population factors,
age, gender, income and employment, and residential details.
West Islip, New York
West Islip is in Suffolk County in New York. The city has a population of approximately
27,149, according to the world population review. (West Islip, New York Population 2020) On
the outskirts of West Islip offers the convenience of entertainment and choices without a modern
city's stress. Over the years of Islip, it has evolved from a subsistence farming economy in the
early years, in the 19th and 20th centuries of tourism and fishing, to the "bedroom community"

where industry and community, providing an excellent place for residents to live, work, and play.
