CASE STUDY BACKGROUNDThe client is a 65-year-old Caucasian male with various health issues. The client’s present illnessis that he has developed pneumonia, a UTI, and was admitted to the hospital initially for a spinal cord injury. Some of his past medical history includes a tracheostomy procedure in 2011, squamous cell carcinoma of the skin, and chronic hypotension. Some of the client’s clinical manifestations observed were clubbing, pallor, early pressure ulcer development on the heels bilaterally, lethargy, inactivity, leukocytosis, and hypotension.
