Management Decision Making
The Paradox of Dialogue:
The practice of dialogue depends upon the organisational climate being
open and respectful, where information is shared, and learning and
challenge is welcomed.
Without such a climate people are unwilling to take the risks needed for
dialogue to take place. (fear of blame, ridicule, punishment)
A key way of moving away from a climate of blame, fear, silence etc is to
engage in dialogue
