Eastern Market Expansion
Being the head trainer of a global U.S. automobile manufacturer, the organization has
decided to expand its operations into the Eastern market such as China, Japan, and Singapore.
Since the vice president of human resources has asked me to create a proposal outlining my
plans for a new hire orientation program for the Eastern market, I will provide it with an
emphasis on cross-cultural cooperation. The structure of the training will contrast to what is
typically used in the U.S automobile manufacturing industry. We will create an effective
cross-cultural communication and awareness training program. Simultaneously, the company
must be ready to provide exceptional products and quality services, which is possible only if
it takes time to recruit the best employees and offer them the best training. Given the cultural
differences between the Western and Eastern markets, new recruitment and orientation
programs need to be developed and effectively implemented. Being the head trainer of a
global U.S. automobile manufacturer, I must cooperate and serve our Eastern employees,
applying our best ability. Researching and studying the Eastern market culture, I know how
to generate a proposal, which I want to train our Eastern colleagues.
New Hire Orientation and the Eastern Market
The Eastern market will potentially view new hire orientation emphasizing the
protection being showed in opening orientation. Showing our amicability, we demonstrate
that we want our Eastern colleagues to be developed and grow within the company. Firstly,
my staff and I will provide them with clear information about our position in which we place
them. This communication will allow them to know what to look for and explain what is
expected of them. Secondly, a segment depicts how colleagues can grow within a company,
combining their unconventional approaches.
