1. Statistic consist of a body of methods for collecting & Analyzing
Data.
Types of Statistic
1. Descriptive statistics methods for organizing, summarizing,
presenting data in an informative way
Descriptive statistics involves summarizing and organizing
the data so they can be easily understood.
2. Inferential statistics (Infer, To Tell)
The Method used to guess a property of a population on
basis of a sample.

In simple terms, population means the collection of all
elements.
Sample
A part of the population is called a sample.
Types of Variables
Variable = Changeable
Static = constant
Quantitative
The characteristics expressed in numeric form is Called
Quantitative.
