Career Planning In Career planning, there are several factors that need to be taken into consideration therefore knowing your strengths and weakness is a very important step in choosing your career. I often try to be sincere with myself whenever I look at possibly changing jobs. When planning a career, I want to make sure the job is more weighted on the side of my strengths so I can be of better service to my clients and employer. Knowing my strengths also make me to realize my weakness at any given job. These are the area of my Strengths: Communication: To establish a healthy and understanding relationship with a client, I often make communication an important factor, listening to my client's concerns, building a rapport, and reaching a common ground. Communication is a very important aspect of a Nurse- Patient interpersonal relationship. Lack of communication between clients, employee and employer often result in dissatisfaction and tension. Best and affordable service: Studies have shown that 70-80% of clients, customers, and patients often go back to where they receive the best and affordable service. As a client advocate and a caregiver, I often work for the best interest of my client, i.e. explaining various options available including the financial cost of the service, educating my client about the possible outcome of their choice and offering of advice if needed.
