, Question 1:
1.1) People always says that a teacher is born to become a teacher and it is difficult to
become a teacher if you’re not born for this profession. Most of the teacher’s beliefs
about teaching is the same and this is to make a better person from the learners in
the class and to prepare them for the bigger life out there. As a teacher in the class
you have to work with passion that the learners in the class can see you really want
them to be better in what they are doing. My whole life I wanted to be a teacher and
it is my passion to work with the learners and to see how they grow and become
better people in their own life’s. My main goal is to teach Civil Technology for gr10-
12, but first I must finish my grade and get my teaching qualification, where I then
can go and study for my qualification in Civil Technology, if I have obtained my
qualification I want to teach from gr10 up to gr12. To teach up to Gr12 and to see
the learners writing their final exam is a sense of accomplishment, because you
know as teacher you helped them to get to where their now. In the new world
where we are living in now there are so many options of learning styles learners can
choice from, the best way to find out how learners learn the best is to test out a few
options of learning styles and to see how the learners adopt to the learning style. In
this times where we are in now teachers had to learn and adopt to different ways of
teaching, like in the lock down teachers had to learn to use google classroom or even
how to give class over zoom, so they used technology in their lesson and the could
show examples over the board for them so they used visualization technique.
Teaching in SA is becoming one of the most important profession, because people
don’t want to sit each and every day and struggle with learners so they choice the
easy way out and leave teaching. To become and stay a teacher is a test every day of
your life but you have to focus on the final goal and that is to see the learners
succeed in life. To make a difference in teaching is the main reason why we are
teachers, to better to living environment of the learners and how I can make a
difference is, is because I was out there and I know what you need to make a success
of your life.
