This is an infection occurring at the site of surgery within 30day
of an operation or withing one year of an operation if a foreign
body is implanted as part of the surgery
, CHANGE THEORY FOR SURGICAL SITE INFECTION.
Surgical site infection endanger patient’ s lives and they can be a significant burde
It increase hospital stay and are high cost to the hospital
This happens because of non compliance with the prevention measures
This problem can be 100 % preventable
