Executive
Summary
Global marketing consists of global trade where consumers and suppliers worldwide
trade their goods with few trade barriers. The trade environments highly influence global
marketing in place by the World Trade Organization. An analysis of how marketing
concepts such as the product/market growth matrix are applied in economic and trade
environments is important to review prior to considering expanding globally. A company
needs to be familiar with growth strategies to boost its success locally and find innovative
ways to grow in new geographical markets. The World Trade Organization assists with
preserving and protecting
environmental trades while promoting development within multiple countries and enforcing
laws to maintain equality and fairness. A major change in the world economy in the past 20
