INDUSTRY STATUS & BREEDS OF CHICKEN
- POULTRY – refers to the species of
domesticated birds that are kept to satisfy
certain human needs, particularly food (like
eggs, meat, feathers in dusters)
o Examples: chickens, ducks, quails,
(these 3 are popular in the Philippines),
turkey, pigeons, ostrich
