Provide background of the company & why you chose that company?
I have chosen Fujitec Singapore Private Limited for this assignment. Fujitec Singapore is the
Organization where I am currently working at. I have been working at Fujitec Singapore for
about six years as Senior Technician. The purpose why I chose this organization is because I
believe that I have enough inputs to talk about the cultural issues in this organization as I
have been working here for few years.

, Company Profile
Fujitec Singapore Corpn. Ltd. is a subsidiary of Fujitec Co. Ltd. (Japan), is the leading
Company in design, manufacturing, installation and servicing of elevators, escalators and
auto walks. Fujitec Singapore Corpn. Ltd. was incorporated in August 1972.
Since its establishment, Fujitec Singapore Corpn. Ltd. has installed more than 25,000
elevators in various high-rise buildings. We have a presence in Housing and Development
Board projects, hospitals, educational institute, office building, shopping malls, private
residences and the industrial segment.
To support the Elevators and Escalators under the Company’s maintenance portfolio, there is
a SafeNet Centre that monitors real time site activities. This facility enables response to an
elevator breakdown in the shortest possible time, it is a remote supervisory system that allows
clients greater efficiency and paperless administration.
In addition, the Fujitec Singapore Experience Centre enables fun learning and creates new
value for customers, educating users and those who have interested in the elevators and
escalators.
Besides that, Fujitec Singapore Corp. Ltd. is also the South Asia Regional Headquarters of
the Fujitec Group of Companies. As a Regional Headquarters for South Asia, overseeing,
Fujitec Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., P. T. Fujitec Indonesia, and Fujitec Lanka (Private) Ltd., the
company is well connected globally through sharing of the latest design, engineering, product
technologies, use of digital technology, mobile apps and people resources.
With holistic strategic planning, Fujitec Singapore will move forward, upholding the Mission
and Vision strongly, contributing to the economic growth of Singapore as well as in countries
where Fujitec has its business presence.
