Abstract
, Over the past 30 years Conservation of resource theory has been the most remarkable and
most cited theory in organizational psychology and organizational behaviour. This theory
describes the human motivation against reserving resources and managing resources to
coping with stress. It also covers broader spectrum burnout, stress and trauma in
organizational sector This theory also relatable with crossover model and Job Resource
model and its implication in workplace. COR theory is proactive rather than reactive.
Proactive resources mitigate stress and build resilience in workplace environment. COR
helps organizations to manage their resources and build resilience environment.
