The scientific study of people and their behaviors in sport and exercise + The practical application of
that knowledge.
Basic psychological disciplines; er zijn veel verschillende soorten disciplines.
Psychological factors ßà Sport/Exercise Performance
De invloed van sport en bewegen op mensen kan heel positief zijn op van alles en leergedrag.
Sport psychology = Understanding the effects of psychological factors on physical or motor
performance.
Exercise psychology = Understanding the effects of physical activity participation on psychological
development, health and well-being.
Geschiedenis van sportpsychologie
Periode 1: De vroege jaren (1895-1920)
- Triplett, cycling/reeling fishing line; Samen fietsen in groepen gaat sneller dan alleen. In sommige

Periode 2: The Griffith-era (1921-1938):
