, Executive Summary
This paper provides a comprehensive financial analysis of Boutique Hotel. It will give
the analysis and evaluation of the current situation of the hotel about its profitability,
liquidity and financial steadiness. The paper will begin with the calculation and briefly
evaluation about the financial statement which includes the transactions, income
statement, statement of owner’s equity and balance sheet. Following this, the paper will
provide the definition going along with the analysis of the hotel’s financial ratios by
using Crown Resorts Limited’s figures as the benchmark. The results of analyzed data
present that the hotel is in the positive circumstances. In the conclusion and
recommendation, there are some points of view that help the hotel improve and
generate more profit, they are:
• The excessive cash should invest in purchasing one more hotel
• Targeting the quality conscious customers
• Strengthen the hotel brand by increasing advertising activities
• Closely monitor important ratios: current ratio and interest cover
There are also exist a limitation in the report which is the limit of data providing. There
is only one financial result in March, 2017 which cannot draw an accurate picture of
business’ position and financial performance.
