Symbols and notations – the main symbols in maths are the plus sign (+)
which means addition (4 + 5 = 9), the minus sign (-) which means
subtraction (5 − 2 = 3), the times sign (x) which means multiplication (4 ×
3 = 12) and the divide sign (÷) which means division (15 ÷ 5 = 3). The
equal sign (=) is also a main symbol because it shows equality of a sum (3
= 1 + 2).
Numerical relationships – If a child needs to add 29 + 5 and they
understand that 29 is one less than 30, then they know that the answer
is one less than 30 + 5.
Geometric relationships – Angle relationships is an example of geometric
relationships. There are different types of angle relationships,
complementary angles are two angles whose sum is 90°, supplementary
angles are two angles whose sum is 180° and adjacent angles are two
angles that share a common side.

, Task 3
Step1:
1.1. A Pascal triangle is a triangle-shaped arrangement of integers that has one
at the top and one on each of its two sides. Every new number has a value
equal to the sum of the two numbers above it and is located between two
other numbers and underneath them.
