reason why foregrounding could help us explain cultural significance. It is history and culture
that
would always affect literature because literature is the voice of these two. We couldn’t just
infer that
the writer uses certain foregrounding devices without any reason and with no influence from

other works of literature. If not for foregrounding, reading would be boring. All works of

will just look plain and ordinary. There would be no difference between formal and informal
