Professor and class, Music nowadays is part of our lives. We listen to music while driving and going on for a long trip, we go to concerts to listen to our favorite artists and sing their songs. We also listen to music to relax, to express our feelings such as being in love, being heartbroken and even to study. I can say that music is important in everything that we do and as our book states music can be experienced in two basic ways: “hearing” or “listening” (Martin & Jacobus, 2018). We listen to music sometimes and not pay attention to the lyrics; other times we listen carefully to every lyric and we can even cry when we listen and sing.
