AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE
Aircraft maintenance is the performance of tasks required to ensure the continuing
airworthiness of an aircraft or aircraft part, including overhaul, inspection, replacement,
defect rectification, and the embodiment of modifications, compliance with airworthiness
directives and repair.
Aircraft maintenance is one of the critical operational tasks to sustain continued
airworthiness. It also contributes a significant proportion of the total life-cycle cost. Based on
introducing the fundamental concepts and theories of reliability and maintainability.
Aircraft maintenance is one of the most important activities that aircraft airlines and owners
should maintain and never underestimate. This is a set of activities that includes the
inspection, reformation and repair of an aircraft, not only for large planes but for smaller

are different airworthiness authorities in the world whose job is to make sure that every
