A year plan is of great importance in any subject because it provides a frame
work for teachers to use and plan their daily activities. A year plan does not
only outline term dates or holidays but can also include assessment dates and
other extra activities which can disturb an academic period. This can be
prevented when the educator uses the year plan when planning academic
lessons.
