An electronic bridge rectifier is a circuit that changes an input signal from alternating current (AC) to a direct current (DC) output signal. Its construction, which consists of four diodes placed in a certain way, enables it to correct both the positive and negative cycles of the AC signal. A bridge rectifier is primarily used in power supply circuits to transform the AC voltage from the power source into a DC voltage that may be utilized to power electronic devices. For many electronic circuits that require a stable DC voltage, the rectified output from the bridge rectifier is crucial because it is smoother and less noisy than the unrectified AC input.
