-promoting the business- this section of marketing is to promote the product and
service that they are contributing. Through the use of marketing the company will get
further well known which will result in brand awareness- one way in which
brand awareness will increase is through word of mouth.
-The marketing department is responsible for finding potential customers and informing them about the

-meeting the customers expectations and needs- Marketing helps to understand and engage with customers
needs, these help to drive companies forward, therefore for example through using positive/efficient
communication the company will be able to determine the needs of their customers.
-Influencing the decisions of customers- Helping customers to purchase an item and advising
them, encourages them to make a decision, it draws the customer in to purchasing.
