, The type of technology that the Department of Education can utilize to
improve the efficiency of their procedures or service delivery.
The Department of education is facing a severe issue in terms of the use of
technological aid particularly in public schools. Schools have been utilizing a
green chalkboard for a long time and the Department of education is unable to
change the system.
Department of education has been using a green chalkboard that first
appeared in the 1960s, generally made of porcelain enamel with a steel
base. These chalkboards are lighter and more durable than slate and thus
easier to ship. And also because the word "blackboard" has become so widely
used that it has become part of the language they use, the green chalkboard
was formerly referred to as a "blackboard."
Additionally, green boards were developed because they were seen to be an
improvement over blackboards since the green color was thought to be more
aesthetically beautiful and simpler to write on than the blackboard and chalk
powder didn't show as much when it was erased. The Department of
Education also believes that green boards are more visible and contribute to
more engaged learning.
The green boards are considered to increase awareness and make learning
easier, but they also have an adverse effect on learners. Nevertheless these
boards have long been a feature of classrooms but information written on the
boards is difficult for learners who are seated in the back of the classroom to
read or learners with eye problems are unable to see the information in the
board.
Chalkboards have a negative impact on learners and educators because
when they erase the board, the chalk dust gets all over everything and they
end up breathing it. Chalk dust is responsible for traveling into the respiratory
system and causing effects especially worsens asthma and breathing issues.
The Department of Education must therefore upgrade the chalkboards
because the majority of teaching professionals complain about the lack of a
suitable collaborative tool that can allow learners to work more effectively and
smoothly.A significant number of them feel an insufficiency of simplified
storage tools that can store teaching materials and student data in one place
and a number of them feel an urgent need for more and better file-sharing
tools that can allow multiple users to share files at the same time.Furthermore
the technologically advanced and modern projection and smart boards system
may overcome all of these difficulties while providing learners in classrooms
with a great quality.
The is also plenty of technology tools they can use to improve the efficiency of
their procedures or service delivery while allowing learners to learn new things.
And also one of the biggest benefits of technology in education is
