Hemolysins Lactase Catalase Lysine decarboxylase
Solution
Urease - catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and ammonia.
Coagulase - reacts with prothrombin, this complex is called as staphylothrombin, it enables the
enzyme protease to convert fibrinogen to fibrin.
Hemolysins - causes lysis of RBC by distrubing their cell membrane.
Lactase - catalyses the lactose digestion.
Catalase - catalyses decomposition of hydrogen peroxide to water and oxygen.
Lysine decarboxylase - catalyses the cadaverine formation from lysine.
