system acts as an important part of the process. To what extent would you agree with this
perspective and why?
The decision-making process is the most complex yet important task in an organization.
Decisions categorized as structured, semi structured and unstructured are the main types of
decisions in a company. A company's operational level makes the most structured judgments, but
its strategic level, which includes top management, makes the most unstructured ones.
Regardless of what kind of choice is being taken, the perception of risk has an impact on the
outcome. A manager's job is to make choices based on the information they have available. Data
collection will allow them to see how well choices are made and how they turn out. People who
make smart decisions are more likely to get what they want, whereas those who make bad
decisions get what they don't want (Asemi, Safari and Zavareh, 2011). This helps management or
decision-makers ensure that data is accurate and reliable by capturing individual as well as group
information, finding patterns in large amounts of data, performing some human-like actions and
coming up with solutions to problems that are too complex for human minds to solve alone.
Intelligent techniques in a form of improved management information systems (MIS) are critical
for making crucial decisions. It is crucial to keep in mind how they function, what information
they require, and who will utilize the information to make adjustments.

Mishra, Kendhe and Bhalerao (2015) say that management information systems (MIS) and
business, an art-based subject, are difficult for most organizations to integrate. Organizations
should bear the above-mentioned issues in mind while creating MIS. Improving data quality and
