Definition : Wound care techniques by covering the wound and giving fluids, nutrients and
antiseptics with drip for 24 hours continuously
Objective :
1. To prevent infection
2. Retain moisture
3. Stimulate the growth of new networks
4. Reduce pain
5. Reduce the occurrence of scar tissue
Implementation procedure
A. Pre-interaction stage
1. Tool preparation
a. sterile gauze
b. Roll bandage
c. Solution for drip consisting of: Nacl 0.9%, 325 cc, glucose 40%, 125 cc and
betadin 10%, 50cc
d. Trophodermin cream
e. Tropical antibiotics
f. Change the bandage set
g. infusion sets
h. Alas
i. Gloves
j. Scissors
k. Bent
l. Hipavix or plaster
m. Cover plastic (thin, white and transparent)
n. Infusion standard
2. Patient preparation
a. Open the wound to be treated
