criminal courts in England and Wales.
Firstly, there are difereet courts across Eeglaed aed Wales that deal
with civil aed crimieal cases aed they are all split ieto difereet
sectioes I’m therefore goieg to outliee the civil courts frst aed thee
followed by the crimieal courts.
There are difereet civil courts ie Eeglaed aed Wales aed what civil
courts typically deal with is whee a persoe is wroeged by ae
orgaeisatioe or aeother persoe for example gettieg compeesatioe
for somethieg beieg the orgaeisatioes fault (mostly iejuries) or
gettieg compeesatioe for accideets etc. aed they also deal with
family disputes i.e. custody of the child.

tryieg to get back moeey that they are owed, people lookieg for
compeesatioe oe iejuries aed laedoweers who waet orders that will
preveet trespass.
The more complex cases aed the cases that owe a large amouet of
moeey may go straight to the high court iestead of the couety court
aed some may evee go to the magistrates as well depeedieg oe the
situatioe/case at haed.
Most of the couety courts across Eeglaed aed Wales have at least
oee circuit judge aed oee district judge.
Circuit judge: Circuit judges are appoieted to oee of sevee regioes
ie Eeglaed aed wales aed sit ie both crowe court aed couety court
withie their specifc regioe.
But speakieg of couety court the circuit judge eormally hears case
that are worth over £15,00 or cases that are really importaet or
really complex but mostly they hear a lot of cases that are worth
over £5,000 but that are eot over £15,000
District Judges: District judges are the oees who mostly deal with
the cases that come ieto the couety courts eo matter what the price
uelike the circuit judges, they are at the couety courts full time they
make sure that the case is rueeieg smoothly aed just keep a geeeral
overview oe the cases as well.
