war. Because of this, he had to deal with being alone all
the time.
The father never went looking for anything with him
because he was afraid of it, his relationship before was
very difficult with his father.
'The war' on the island means the 2nd war. It is an event
that everyone there knows.

He went to the house and imagined how everything had
happened on the day the bomb fell, thinking of
grandparents and the children of the house.
When she goes into a basement it is very dark and there is
a strong smell, eventually it turns out to be organs, brains,
hearts, lungs and eyes.
