Assignment - Autumn Session 2021
Due: 4pm Tuesday 6 April (week 6)
Value: 30% of the total marks for the subject
Page Limit: 5 pages (not including bibliography)
Submission: The assignment must be submitted via the LLB1100 moodle site.
Format of Work:
• Microsoft Word Document in black type with 2.54 cm margins on all sides (left, right, top, bottom).
• The font size must be 12 point ‘Times’ font and line spacing should be ‘double spaced’.
• Referencing must be in accordance with the AGLC 4th edition. Footnotes must be used. Footnotes
should be in 10 point font and ‘single spaced’.
• A bibliography must be included at the end. This is not part of the page limit.
• Pages must be numbered.
This assessment task has been set up to be checked by Turnitin, a tool for checking if it has unreferenced
content. You can submit your assessment task to Turnitin prior to the due date and Turnitin will give you an
originality report. You can then make any changes that may be required and re-submit your final version by
the due date. You should note that originality reports can take up to 24 hours to be generated
Always keep a copy of your work. You must ensure that assignments conform to adequate reference and
citation practice, as failure to do so may constitute academic misconduct.

Evidence of analysis and critical thinking in relation to the issues
Quality and thoroughness of research
Structure and written expression
Appropriate referencing, including compliance with the AGLC; and
Conformity with page length and formatting
Please note: the assessment criteria are not equally weighted.
