You are an employee within a company and are asked prepare a speech at your workplace
on a topic of your choice for a group of international visitors from Saudi Arabia which
would serve one of the following purposes: to inform, demonstrate, persuade, entertain or
be ceremonial. As is the case for the topic of your speech, the choice is yours in terms of
what the purpose of your speech will be but it is important to remember that the topic
must pertain to some aspect of your company and its business; therefore, giving a speech
about your love of ice cream sundaes for example, would not be appropriate. Also, you
need to keep cultural sensitivities in mind regarding the content of your speech by paying
attention to the themes of language, perception and ethnocentrism and how they relate to
your Saudi Arabian visitors. Please feel free to consult the internet regarding Saudi

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen gathered today. I would like to thank everyone that
is present here for today's celebration. I stand here with a lot of joy as we celebrate 5
year's of good success in the vegan skin care industry.
, Its never an easy decision to open shop in a different country and still have it become
successful as well. In business, some risks taken either return well or hardly return at all.
I am proudly to say that the team gathered here in Saudi Arabia made this company as it
is today.
Vegan skin care has been in demand for a long time now, our products are environmental
friendly, never tested on animals and are the best
investment one can make for their skin. Our products are available for both women and
men ... we all need good skin don't we?
One thing is to invest...and another is to inform the customer base. We managed to set
one vision of trying our best to make the skincare products with a lot of hard work. What
is the end result you may ask yourselves. The end result is that we are in the top leading
list of well recognised and appreciated skin care products! I can only give the million
thanks to the team that is here. All your hard work has made many people around the
world happy with their skin this very day.
Your time, ideas and great work have all been pushed together in the right direction that
has lead us to yet another annual celebration. I hope that we will encounter many more
successful milestones like this together in the future.
