Barrel Bevel • The slanted part at the tip of a needle Brand name • Name of the drug given by the drug manufacturer; also called the trade name Capsules • A gelatinous container to hold a drug in powder, liquid, or oil form. Contraindication • A pre-existing condition that makes it unsafe or otherwise inappropriate to administer a particular drug.
